Brookmeadow Country Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Canton, Massachusetts.
The Brookmeadow golf course first opened for play in 1967. The course was designed by Frank Simoni.
Frank took up golf at the age of 47. According to Frank, "I was bitten by the golf bug. I'm nutty about the game. I like to watch it. I like to play it. I like to be in it."
Frank's love of the game inspired him to build Brookmeadow Country Club. Faced with about 200 acres of land unsuitable for houses, he planned a nine-hole golf course for the site. Doing most of the designing and engineering himself, Frank treated the construction of Brookmeadow as a personal challenge.
Encouraged by the success of the nine-hole course, he soon expanded Brookmeadow to include 18 holes. Frank's dream was to create the premier public golf course in the area. Among other plans, he envisioned a second floor added to the clubhouse. That vision did not die with his passing in 1997. Betty Simoni made sure the club house was completed in a manner that would have pleased Frank.
Brookmeadow Country Club golf course is a par-72 venue that plays to a maximum distance of 6,637 yards for a course rating is 71.7 and a slope rating of 123.

Have played this course for many years. The staff continues to work on the conditioning which is much improved. A limiting factor in the Spring is that the course does not drain well and casual water can be an issue. Overall, it is a good value and very reasonably priced. The new clubhouse and banquet hall are among the better in the area, especially for a public course.

Greens are in great shape. I little wet but compared to a couple years ago, this place is draining much better.
